Primary Leisure Ltd is a new business that specialise in the provision of coin operated Childrens entertainment kiosks. It will occupy a niche market within the amusement industry and the Kiosks will be sited nationally, primarily operated on an income share basis with site owners.
Primary Leisure Ltd is to be the leader in the provision of coin operated Childrens entertainment. Robin Mitchell and Jonathan Smith were the cofounders of the company, both have entrepreneurial and industry experience
Primary Leisure Ltd currently has one product line called “Kids Tv”.
The “Kids Tv” is a coin operated enclosure that shows popular cartoons to children. It will use the latest technology that will enable children to select from a choice of four popular cartoons, each with a number of episodes. The design of the kiosk and the cartoon content is aimed at the 2-7 year old market, new character content is being looked at to extend the age limit of children we are aiming at. Thus doubling the customer base.
Robin Mitchell BA (Econ) Shareholder and co-founder of Primary Leisure Limited. He has worked in the Kiddie ride Business for 20 years. He recently sold his business R.G. Mitchell Ltd to Photo-Me having built up a manufacturing and operating company with 4000 machines on site along with a solid export business. The Business achieved many awards including Lincolnshire Exporter of the Year, Nat West FT Export Excellence Award, Wal-Mart Best Kiddie Ride, B.A.C.T.A., Best Kiddie Ride and the East Midlands Competitiveness Award. The customer base included Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Somerfield, Mothercare, Adams Childrenswear, Toys R Us, together with many other retailers and shopping Malls.
In 1998, in tandem with running this company, he started Snap Digital Imaging, a photo booth company. In 2005 it achieved profits of circa £300k on a turnover of £9m. Aged 44, married with two boys he is knowledgeable in all aspects of this business.
Jonathan Smith BA (Bus. St) Shareholder and co founder of Primary Leisure Limited. He has worked in a Sales environment, within the Business To Business sector since 1984. From 1990 to current day, he has worked within businesses that he has created himself. In 1999 he co-founded a Telecoms company, which through his contacts enabled acquisitions and dramatic organic growth, and the company is now AIM listed, employs over 500 staff with a turnover of £100m. He has no day to day responsibility within this company now but is still a significant shareholder. He is currently involved with a number of companies in Office Relocation and Design and Build market place.
He is married with three girls and is eager to further develop his entrepreneurial skills in this arena.
